In nine live-shows the candidates risked going on the ice in the Europa-Park. As from mid November the candidates moved into the training camp in the Europa-Park in Rust. Well over a million Germans shared the experience – the challenges our stars took to perfect their figure skating, with triple jumps, salchows, lifts and pirouettes.

Katarina Witt herself could be seen on the ice for the last time in Germany in February/March 2008 after her exemplary international career as a figure skater. The most successful figure skater of all times showed once again by her passionate programme how high performance in sports as well as the esthetics of figure skating can be combined to an unforgettable experience. She was accompanied by her colleagues, international top stars of ice skating.

Katarina Witt and the British exception artist and singer Katie Melua published together with Dr. Dieter Zetsche (Chairman of the Board of Management/DaimlerChrysler) the Lineup for the German LIVE EARTH concert. On July 7th participate in Hamburg among others: Jan Delay, Juli, Lotto King Karl, Michael Mittermeier, Reamonn, Roger Cicero, Sasha, Silbermond and Snoop Dog and of course Katie Melua! The concert will be presented live by Katarina Witt live on ProSieben network.
